Furthest From the Wild is a full-length documentary about sanctuaries who are dedicated to saving animals that would otherwise be put to death because of human irresponsibility. Armed with grit and courage these sanctuaries carry on educating the public as well as try to survive amidst the difficult economic crises. We follow the day-to-day struggles that the keepers must face everyday. The film covers animal sanctuaries all over the U.S. from large cats, wolves, dogs, rabbits, primates, reptiles, and more. We learn how a Las Vegas magician, a farm boy and a scientific researcher came to dedicate their lives to rescue. The keepers also give us a heartbreaking history about the neglect and abuse the animals came to know before they were given a second chance.

The TV Series
The Series is a spin off of the Full feature documentary. Here we focus mainly on exotic animal rescues all over the country. Season one is in production and is schedule to be released in 2018.
